Protected health information
FC Billing is designed for HIPAA-sensitive work. Protected health information must be used only for authorized purposes. Where required, its handling is governed by a business associate agreement and your organization’s privacy and security policies.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be shared with payers, clearing or portal services, infrastructure providers, and other processors only as needed for an authorized workflow, to provide the service, or as required by law. FC Billing does not sell patient information.
Security and retention
Administrative, technical, and physical safeguards are used to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security. Records are retained according to the applicable service agreement, legal duties, and the organization’s configured retention practices.
